The Norton Branch Library plays a role in honoring our community’s important milestone!

The City of Norton, organized in 1818 and named after Birdsey Norton, an original owner of Wolf Creek Township, is celebrating its Bicentennial this year! The Norton Branch Library has been an active participant in the planning of the City’s year-long celebration, which will include a presentation on Community Service by Captain AJ Reiss, US Navy, a Bicentennial Parade, a Family Night at Columbia Woods, and more! For a complete list of events, visit https://nortonbicentennial.com/.

The Norton Branch Library will be closing early, at 5 pm, on Monday, July 23, for the Bicentennial Parade (we’re on the parade route so there will be no access to our driveway). Our staff looks forward to seeing everyone later that evening at Columbia Woods for Bicentennial Family Night!

The Norton Branch Library resume regular hours, 10 am-8 pm, on Tuesday, July 24.
